CNC Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team on the 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am. You will be responsible for operating CNC machines in a job shop environment, including both lathes and multi-spindles. This position offers opportunities for on-the-job training and career growth in a clean, safe, and climate-controlled facility. Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines, including both lathes and multi-spindles. Train to operate 2-3 machines simultaneously. Perform tool changes and sharpening/grinding as needed. Set up machines and make necessary adjustments. Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to maintain tolerances. Work from blueprints to ensure accurate production. Maintain all fluid levels of machines and keep the work area clean. Pay close attention to detail and perform basic repairs to machines. Essential Skills

Minimum 2 years of CNC experience, preferably with lathes or mills. Proficiency in reading blueprints. Experience with precision measuring equipment like micrometers and calipers. Strong understanding of shop math. Familiarity with basic hand and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with machine setups and tool changes. Knowledge of ACME, multi-spindle, single spindle, and Shutte CNC machines. Programming experience, especially with Fanuc controls, G&M Code, and conversational programming. Experience with horizontal and vertical milling machines, and boring mills. Ability to perform editing, tool changes, set-ups, and tear downs in a job shop environment. Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a large 800,000 sq ft facility that is clean and climate-controlled. The facility is equipped with air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter. Employees can enjoy two paid 10-minute breaks during their shifts and have the option to eat at their workstations. Tobacco chewing is permitted, and there is a designated smoking area for breaks. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $23.55/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
