Orthopedics And Rehabilitation Administrative Assistant

The Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation is seeking part time (15-20 hours per week) administrative assistance for educational and research programs. This position entails performing database entry, error checking, document conversion, spreadsheet creation, tracking for different programs (i.e. residency application review), and performing phone calls to confirm scheduling and/or obtain patient consent as needed. Other duties as assigned by supervisor may be necessary. Function/Duties of Position

Provide administrative assistance to support research administrative functions, such as copying and collating research proposals, and entering documents into electronic filing systems Usage of Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets for organizational and tracking purposes related to educational programs (i.e. residency applications) and research (i.e. scheduling and reminders). Support scheduling functions through performing telephone reminder calls about clinical questionnaires and/or scheduled appointments, in addition to other tasks as assigned. Required Qualifications

Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours) Preferred Qualifications

Office and/or customer service experience. Excellent communication skills. Must be reliable, punctual, and professional. Proficient with computers: Database management, use of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel. Courteous telephone manner and etiquette. Highly accurate in creating, reviewing and maintaining written records and phone call logs. Maintain confidentiality. Additional Details

15-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday. All are welcome
