The Housekeeping Floor Manager at Aria is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall appearance of facilities under your supervision. You will lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff, establish and maintain cleaning schedules, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. The day-to-day includes: Overseeing and ensuring the smooth operation of assigned area Supervising, training, directing, and assisting all employees assigned to the area Distributing workload fairly and evenly to those assigned to the station Conducting daily briefing and schedule meetings with Guest Room Attendants and House Persons Ensuring cleanliness of rooms, hallways, lockers, and lobbies that all work is done properly Performing daily written guest room inspections in accordance with department standards Performing frequent and consistent visual inspections of guest rooms and assigned public areas Monitoring Guest Room Attendants and House Persons work productivity and communicating any area below departmental standards to the assigned Executive Assistant Housekeeper Counseling and disciplining employees that violate department policies, practices, or procedures; providing regular feedback to Guest Room Attendants and House Persons on specific job responsibilities and guest service. The ideal candidate: Has a high school diploma or equivalent. Is able to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays. Has 2 years of prior relevant experience in housekeeping or hotel operations. Has 1+ years of prior relevant experience in hotel management. Has knowledge with Forbes Standards and maintaining those standards. Has previous experience working in a similar luxury resort setting. Has organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, within established deadlines and attention to detail.
