The Maintenance Engineer III performs property and in-residence inspections to ensure all areas, equipment, and systems are well-maintained and any issues are immediately addressed. The Trades Person completes preventative maintenance, handles work orders and guest requests efficiently while maintaining accurate paperwork. The position demands strong attention to detail, teamwork, flexibility with schedules, and a courteous attitude towards guests. This position reports to Director of Engineering. The pay range for this position is $28.00 to $32.00 per hour, actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience. Job Posting Deadline

Perform property inspections to ensure common areas are maintained in a "like new" condition and all building systems are in good working order. Troubleshooting and repairing any issues as they arise
Perform property inspections to ensure rooms are maintained to exacting standards, including lighting, electronics, appliances, furniture, fixtures, paint, and woodwork
Address and resolve any maintenance issues as they arise
Perform periodic preventative maintenance tasks on building systems and equipment as prescribed by engineering management
Prioritize, organize, and complete departmental work orders and guest requests promptly
Complete required paperwork and update open work orders in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain a polite and courteous attitude towards guests
Complete tasks within deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship and prioritizing tasks effectively
Other duties as assigned Education & Experience Requirements
High School diploma required
Trade Certification required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of the specific trade, whether it's pool maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, HVAC, or another field
Ability to understand and implement industry tools, materials, and hotel best practices
Knowledge of workplace safety standards, OSHA regulations, building codes, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry regulations
Holds advanced CPR and First Aid Certifications or willing to receive training within 3 months
Ability to handle maintenance tools and materials with precision, demonstrating steady hands, controlled movements, and good hand-eye coordination
Ability to identify the proper tools, equipment, and techniques related to the trade, such as welding, wiring, measuring, cutting, assembling, or repairing components
Ability to diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and apply creative solutions in real-world situations
Excellent attention to detail while taking great pride in work
Ability to work in a team environment including frequent interaction and seamless communication with Guest Services, Front Office, and Housekeeping departments
Able to work without direct supervision
Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and 2nd shift Work Environment & Physical Demands
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand or be on your feet, kneel and bend for extended periods of time
Regularly work in adverse conditions and required to use protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50) Job Benefits
