13 weeks Shift:
12-hour days (06:45 to 19:15) Hours per Week:
36 (after orientation week) Estimated Weekly Salary:
$1680-$1800 Healthcare Setting:
Cardiac Stepdown Unit, with floating to Medical, Surgical Acute (Laulima), and Cardiovascular Units as needed Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Hawaii RN license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date) Minimum 2 years of recent experience in stepdown, telemetry, or medical-surgical nursing BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred (PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC certifications are a plus) Proficiency with Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tube management Proof of immunity required (no medical or religious exemptions accepted) Professional nursing attire (clean scrubs) Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Stepdown unit and float to other medical/surgical units as needed Monitor and assess patients with cardiac and complex medical conditions Administer medications, manage IVs, perform wound care, and manage chest tubes Document all patient care activities using Meditech EMR Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Participate in unit orientation and ongoing clinical training programs
