Epic EMR Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Maine or compact state) Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a surgical ICU, trauma ICU, or critical care nursing role Current ACLS certification required Experience with chest tubes, wound vac dressings, and high-acuity patient care Ability to float to Medical ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, and Cardiothoracic ICU as needed Strong teamwork and communication skills Completion of onboarding eLearning modules SICU RN Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to trauma, post-operative, vascular, and abdominal surgery patients in the SICU Monitor and manage patients with complex medical needs and advanced critical care equipment Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to other critical care units (Medical ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU) as required Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR Participate in ongoing training and contribute to a supportive healthcare team environment
