Shift: 06:30 AM - 07:00 PM Position Type: Full-Time (36 Hours Guaranteed Weekly) Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend Number of Openings: 1
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Rehabilitation Unit. This state-of-the-art facility specializes in providing intensive rehabilitation care for individuals recovering from various conditions, including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries. Our approach is centered on delivering personalized treatment plans to maximize health, function, and quality of life for our patients.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the rehabilitation unit. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Monitor and assess patients' progress and adjust care strategies accordingly. - Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and rehabilitation processes. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records utilizing Epic EHR. - Ensure compliance with CARF accreditation standards and best practices in rehabilitation care.
Qualifications: - Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. - Strong foundation in rehabilitation and medical-surgical nursing. - Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is preferred.
Work Environment: - 40-bed rehabilitation facility focusing on a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics. - Patient-to-nurse ratios that facilitate quality care and safety.
