Director, Business Development
to be a key engine for revenue growth. This role is for a true "hunter" who thrives on identifying and closing new business with PE firms and their portfolio companies. You will be responsible for building relationships and articulating the value of Lodestone's unique, data-driven approach to solving complex talent and organizational challenges. As a pivotal member of a small but growing team, you will have a direct influence on our success and trajectory. This position is ideal for someone with a growth mentality who is eager to take on significant responsibility, operate with autonomy, and contribute to building our sales processes from the ground up. About the Role Location : Remote, located within the Northeast Corridor (Washington D.C. to New York City) of the US. Experience:
3-5+ years of demonstrated success in a business development or sales role, with a consistent track record of meeting and exceeding quotas. Duties:
Drive business growth by security new opportunities and deepening partnerships with existing clients. What You’ll Do: Proactively identify, target, and build relationships with key stakeholders within Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies. Manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and lead qualification to understanding a client's investment thesis and business imperatives. Articulate the value of the company’s suite of services, including Human Capital Diligence, Executive Assessment, and Leadership Advisory Services (LAS). Cultivate and deepen relationships within the existing client base to identify and secure expansion opportunities for value creation. Take full ownership of your daily and weekly activities, including scheduling your own meetings and managing your sales pipeline. Meticulously maintain and manage all sales activities, pipeline data, and client information within the CRM (HubSpot). Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build brand presence and generate leads. What You Bring: Industry Background:

is highly preferred. A background in
Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Investor Relations

Exceptional Communicator: Y ou have outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate a compelling, data-driven value proposition to a sophisticated client base. Comfortable with regional travel. Total compensation package includes: Base Salary: $125,000, with a clear performance-based path to $150,000. Commission: An aggressive, uncapped commission plan with emphasis on acquiring new client accounts. On-Target Earnings (OTE): First-year OTE is approximately $205,000.
