Job Responsibilities
: Act as the benefits, LOA, etc. SME – Coordinate eligibility, enrollments/changes, terms, open enrollment, partner with brokers/carriers, etc. Manage day-to-day benefits administration – make recommendations, identify cost savings opportunities, etc. Manage LOA processes from cradle-to-grave, maintain documentation, and coordinate with payroll/benefits Confirm benefits invoices against HRIS/payroll, resolve discrepancies with carriers, and secure credits/adjustments Maintain HRIS data governance; create & schedule standard & ad-hoc reports; support configuration changes, testing, and user guidance Perform regular audits of HRIS, payroll, & benefits data – Support external/internal audits & record retention Create recurring HR metrics/dashboards (e.g., KPIs) – prepare updates, content & materials for leadership/manager meetings Track & report on recognition programs & service milestones Manage employee surveys; analyze results & track action plans Provide HR systems training for management Distribute & track policy acknowledgments Coordinate compliance filings & reporting – support all compliance activities Manage & track mandatory training Support hiring & onboarding, new-hire orientation, and I-9 completions Document concerns, support investigations, & prepare corrective action Maintain accurate files & electronic records in Prepare & execute HR projects; track progress & make recommendations Prepare clear dept. communications, guides, & SOPs Other duties as assigned Job Requirements
: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or similar or SHRM-CP/PHR Cert. preferred 4+ years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated ability in HRIS reporting, benefits, LOA, & generalist ops Strong knowledge of employment laws Experience supporting audits & policy compliance Proficiency with HRIS administration/reporting (e.g. ADP, Excel) Strong attention to detail Excellent written & verbal communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information & escalate appropriately Strong project management skills Ability to draft clear policies, SOPs, and HR content/materials
