Description Experience:

0-2 years of labor and employment practice experience. This is an entry-level position.

(Pay depends on relevant experience and work production)

All applicants must be admitted to practice law in New York.

Handle employment cases from client intake to judgment enforcement.

Meet with clients and potential clients.

Conduct initial investigations and legal research.

Prepare demand letters.

Participate in settlement negotiations.

Draft pleadings, discovery demands, and responses.

Conduct and defend depositions.

Prepare motion papers.

Participate in mediations and arbitrations.

Assist in trials.

Draft and enforce judgments.

Communicate with clients and witnesses.

Perform other actions necessary in a labor and employment practice group.
