Description
As an AirPlay frameworks engineer, you will be responsible for prototyping innovative ideas in AirPlay frameworks. This includes developing new APIs for device discovery, connections, and media sharing, contributing to the standardization of AirPlay features. You will influence overall system design and help shape the future of AirPlay. To succeed in this role, you should be versatile and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You must be a team-oriented professional with excellent communication skills, sound judgment, integrity, and the ability to make timely decisions. Strong technical and programming skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of multithreaded programming and real-time systems. Experience in API design and maintenance is required. A background in Video or Audio technologies and understanding of media formats is a plus. Minimum Qualifications
Strong programming skills in C/C++ BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent Familiarity with media playback fundamentals, audio and/or video streaming Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of multithreading and concurrency Experience with OS X / Darwin is a major plus Objective C and Swift experience is a plus Experience with A/V synchronization technology Experience in API design and maintenance
