Job Description Family Law Attorney
Family Law Attorney Starting Salary: $120,000 - $190,000 1,400 Billable Hour Requirement Hybrid Role
Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Law Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and adoption, and will be committed to advocating for clients in a compassionate and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities Represent clients in family law cases including divorce, child custody, and adoption Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents Provide legal advice and consultation to clients Manage case files and maintain organized records Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation Litigate cases in court and effectively advocate for clients' interests Assist clients with child support and domestic violence issues Engage in collaborative law processes when appropriate Draft legal correspondence and pleadings Maintain client confidentiality and uphold legal ethics Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in WA state Minimum of 4 years of experience in family law Strong knowledge of family law statutes and case law Excellent legal research and writing skills Strong negotiation and litigation skills Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively Compassionate and client-focused approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills Benefits Competitive compensation tied to productivity: $120,000 - $190,000 annually Commission pay available 401(k) with employer matching Health insurance Flexible schedule (Monday-Friday, day shift) Supportive work environment with growth and leadership opportunities Access to the latest legal technology - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
