Job Description
Quality Engineer:
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and diagrams to set quality standards.
- Conduct in-process inspections and evaluate part acceptability.
- Record, analyze, and report test data to identify deviations.
- Maintain and develop the Quality Management System and inspection areas.
- Set up, program, and operate DCC CMM equipment.
- Approve first article inspections (FAI) and certificates of conformance (C of C).
- Act as liaison between QC and production to resolve non-conformances.
The Successful Applicant
Quality Engineer:
- 7+ years of hands-on CNC machining and inspection experience.
- Knowledge of quality control tools, gages, and CMM operation.
- Familiarity with ISO/QMS environments and process improvement practices.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Positive attitude, dependable, and able to work collaboratively in a team.
- Fast learner with the ability to master tasks quickly.
- Understanding of customer drawings and ability to apply requirements to machining processes.
- Competitive base salary range of $85K-$120K with potential performance-based bonus.
