Job Description
Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System, including inspection processes and gage control.
- Perform in-process inspections, first article inspections (FAI), and prepare certificates of conformance (C of C).
- Program and operate CMM equipment to verify part compliance with customer requirements.
- Analyze test data, document deviations, and recommend process or quality standard improvements.
- Serve as liaison between production and quality to resolve non-conformances and support continuous improvement.
The Successful Applicant
The successful profile:
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience with CNC lathe and mill operations and the ability to read and interpret customer drawings.
- Experience with CMM equipment, inspection tools, and quality control measuring devices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with ISO/QMS standards, Microsoft Outlook and Excel, and general quality assurance practices.
