Job Description
The Quality Engineer, Industrial CNC Manufacturing will:
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards to determine quality requirements
- Perform inspections (random, in-process, and final) using sampling plans to assess part conformance
- Set up, program, and operate DCC CMM equipment; maintain gage calibration and certification records
- Document inspection results, analyze test data, and report deviations from quality standards
- Sign off on First Article Inspections (FAIs) and Certificates of Conformance (C of Cs)
- Support and maintain the Quality Management System in alignment with company and customer requirements
- Recommend process or quality standard adjustments to optimize product quality
- Act as the primary liaison between quality and production teams to address non-conformances
- Lead or participate in MRB reviews and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain organized quality control area and inspection documentation
- Communicate quality issues clearly in both verbal and written form during meetings and audits
- Support internal audits and compliance efforts as needed
- Onsite at our Dover, NH
The Successful Applicant
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience with CNC lathe, mill, and 5-axis machining manufacturing operations, ideally in a Quality Engineering role or adjacent
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and applying customer specifications to machining processes
- Working knowledge of CMM equipment, inspection tools, and quality control procedures
- Experience in ISO or QMS-regulated manufacturing environments (ISO9001 and AS9100 a plus)
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
- Local to Dover, NH
