Annual Compensation : $267,000 - $320,000 with bonus opportunities.
Position Overview : The Regional Medical Director provides therapy and/or medication management to diagnose and treat patients.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services meeting community standards and adhering to medical ethics.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments using the bio-psycho-social model.
- Identify psychiatric conditions per DSM-5.
- Develop treatment plans collaboratively.
- Manage psychopharmacologic treatments.
- Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
- Coordinate hospitalizations when needed.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and families.
- Work with medical assistants to streamline workflow.
Other Duties
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
- At least five years of mental health experience and three years in clinical supervision, including leading clinics.
- Expertise in crisis intervention, working with mentally ill populations, and assessment skills.
- Professional registration/certification as required by law.
