2nd Shift Assembler

Join our team as a 2nd Shift Assembler, where you will utilize your skills in a dynamic and growing environment. This role involves working on a contract-to-hire basis, with the possibility of extension beyond the initial year or 18 months. As an assembler, you will contribute to the production of medical devices that play a crucial role in healthcare. All candidates MUST be open to overtime during the weekdays and open to working Saturdays when needed. 6 openings- 2nd shift 3:45 start time or 3:30pm-12:00am (midnight). Responsibilities

Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System. Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Project Engineer/Supervisor. Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills

Microscope experience. Small part assembly expertise. Strong communication skills. Ability to work with microscopes for 90% of the shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 6 months high volume small part assembly experience with a microscope. Experience in medical device assembly and cleanroom environments. Proficiency with measuring tools, hand tools, calipers, and micrometers. High school diploma or equivalent. Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is within a cleanroom setting, where assemblers work at close stations. The role requires flexibility to start shifts earlier and work Saturdays when needed. A typical second shift starts at either 3:30 pm or 3:45 pm. Employees are expected to adhere to cleanroom standards at all times. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
