Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics, Organizational Change Management, Communications, Training, and Information Technology (IT)Support Services. We are currently seeking a General Warehouse Specialist to join our team of professionals in support of the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) Warehouse Support Services (WSS) Program.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Utilize the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support System (DMLSS), Hospital Information Management System (HIMS), or other authorized databases for all routine warehouse processes. Provide warehouse support, including receiving, shipping, storing (stowing), selecting (picking), supply turn-in (disposal), packing (kitting and stuffing), unpacking (downloading), and inventory of general or specialized material and equipment. Conduct logistical tasks to support warehouse operations. Performs inventory and documentation of supply stock utilizing DMLSS or other military database of record. Adjusts stock levels as directed and supports disposal processes for excess or unserviceable material. Review, stock, and re-supply medical logistics items. Remove and replace outdated or expired items from shelves or kitted Expeditionary Medicine Systems (EXMEDS). Perform quality control on transaction records and files documents appropriately and promptly. Research quality assurance messages in DMLSS or other military database of record and coordinates affected products/recalls with impacted work centers. Review a wide variety of documents to ensure required information is included. Obtain missing details from supporting documents, supervisors, or analysts, and resolve discrepancies, deviations, or omissions. Perform receiving duties, including unloading, processing, and verifying incoming shipments against documentation. Report overages, shortages, or damage. Open containers, remove packing materials, segregate material by type (e.g., equipment, consumable, narcotic, pilferable, HAZMAT), generate labels, and route or move items to staging or storage. Ensure personnel performing crating, blocking, bracing, or packing functions requiring wood are certified to meet "pest-free" requirements per EU Decision 2001/219/EO for non-manufactured wood products (ISPM 15). Perform re-warehousing of material in accordance with Government stow plans. Perform inventory control duties in support of a large production, sustainment, and distribution center. Tasks include counting items during inventories, conducting location surveys, handling and examining material, identifying items, packing, operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and analyzing and revising inventory records. Perform platform stowing of material assigned to EXMED platforms in adjacent locations to facilitate rapid deployment. Perform Pick, Pack, Preserve, and Crate (PPP&C) functions. Pack and repack items for kitting and shipping of EXMEDS using standard packing materials, methods, and techniques. Perform administrative duties including word processing, verifying and correcting data, transmitting electronic mail, storing and retrieving electronic documents, and entering data into spreadsheets or databases. Provide logistics support to warehouse personnel as needed, including delivery of supplies, equipment, or furniture within the warehouse and to outlying buildings. Ensure warehouse cleanliness and upkeep. Ensure proper handling and storage of medical gases in compliance with applicable AFIs and local safety guidelines. Support the turn-in of unserviceable equipment, supplies, and furniture by reviewing disposal and turn-in documentation and verifying material and quantities prior to turn-in or disposal to DLADS. Required:
Experience in a supply chain management setting that includes general supply activities, receiving, inventory management, warehousing, and operation of various material handling equipment. Knowledge of overall warehousing storage management plans and accepted warehousing methods. Knowledge of supply functions, operations, program requirements, and work methods. Knowledge of warehousing methods, procedures, material handling techniques, and activities such as material receiving, issuing, and preservation. Knowledge of programs used in providing material support.
Previous United States military service experience is a HUGE PLUS. Additional Requirements
A valid driver's license and license to operate up to a 1.5-ton stake bed truck and 4-6K forklifts for the delivery of medical equipment, supplies, and furniture. Must be able to work a light to moderate physical effort. Requirements include walking, standing, reaching, bending, and moving items. May require lifting and carrying weight over 45 pounds. Must have the ability to read, interpret and apply reference material such as regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, orders, etc. to accomplish and resolve problems; the ability to read and speak the English language, correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and format to prepare and edit written correspondence, reports, and transcribed material; be proficient in US standard office equipment, such as computers, copiers, fax machines, telephone systems and office automation systems, to perform a substantial range of warehouse support; and the knowledge of basic ethical principles, telephone etiquette, excellent communications and customer service skills and ability.
