About the Role
As Regional Sales Manager, you will oversee territory growth, sales process optimization, and manufacturer representative oversight, ensuring structured engagement across wholesale distributors and trade channels. You will lead account management strategy, develop pricing initiatives, refine product recommendations, and implement marketing plans, optimizing business expansion and structured revenue generation strategies. Additionally, you will collaborate with sourcing teams, evaluate customer product needs, and execute the DiversiTech Account Management Sales process, ensuring long-term sales sustainability and structured opportunity tracking.
What You'll Do • Increase sales through appropriate distribution channels, visiting distributor corporate and branch locations. • Perform annual Account Discovery planning, refining customer Value Confirmation strategies for National, Strategic, and Core Accounts. • Manage and direct manufacturer's representatives and/or Territory Managers, overseeing Pipeline performance and market expansion tracking. • Meet or exceed established sales budget, ensuring structured financial tracking accuracy. • Evaluate, identify, and recommend high-value products, collaborating with engineering and sourcing teams. • Collaborate with Pricing Managers on product pricing strategies, optimizing structured market engagement execution. • Work with Marketing teams to implement regional and national customer marketing plans, refining structured campaign execution. • Contribute to organizational strategic direction, enhancing wholesale distribution sales execution. • Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cadences, supporting structured account engagement tracking. • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to structured sales optimization and business growth success.
What We're Looking For
Required: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field • 5-7 years of experience managing sales representatives in a regional or nationwide territory, refining structured business execution • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), optimizing structured reporting accuracy • Experience utilizing a CRM, refining structured customer engagement execution • Knowledge of HVACR, Electrical, and lighting products, supporting two-step distribution selling models and commercial customer engagement • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, refining structured sales tracking execution • Experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments, ensuring structured operational accuracy • Proactive self-starter mindset, with keen attention to detail • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, enabling seamless collaboration across employees and executive leadership • Professional sales and persuasive communication skills, optimizing structured engagement execution • Ability to reach decision-makers and gain commitment, refining structured sales strategy execution • Adept listening and probing skills to understand customer needs, refining structured relationship management tracking • Valid Driver's License, supporting structured cross-site coordination efforts • 75-100% of travel is required.
