MTSI is seeking a
Data Solution Architect
to lead the design, development, and governance of advanced data architectures aligned with organizational goals and complex enterprise ecosystems. The role involves guiding cross-functional teams, advising senior leadership, and championing industry trends such as data mesh, hybrid cloud architectures, and AI/ML pipelines. Qualifications and Requirements Architectural Focus: Experience designing and governing data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouse architectures for scalable analytics. Proficiency in cloud-native data architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including data mesh and fabric concepts. Design Thinking: Knowledge of user-centered data product design and collaboration with UI/UX teams. Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills, experience advising executives, and mentoring teams. Governance and Security: Understanding of data governance, privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA), and security across data types. Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse. Deep knowledge of data modeling, engineering principles, and metadata management tools. Integration and Pipelines: Experience with data integration and real-time streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, Flink. Experience: Minimum 15 years in data architecture or related fields, with a proven record of large-scale, secure data solutions. Strategic Vision: Ability to align technical solutions with business strategies and complex requirements. AI and MLOps: Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines and MLOps, considered a plus. Certifications (Strongly Desired): CDMP, AWS Data Analytics Specialty, Google Data Engineer, Azure Architect, TOGAF or similar. Mission-Critical Experience: Experience in regulated, mission-critical, or government environments, including secure or classified data solutions. Educational Background: Bachelor's in a technical field required; Master's or PhD preferred. Work Location: On-site at a local MTSI office. Security Requirements: Active TS/SCI clearance required; US Citizenship mandatory; SAP experience preferred. Why Join Us?
