This position is located in the Galleria area of Houston working in the office. This opportunity offers great stability within the organization along with the excitement of growth.

The CAO reports to the CFO and provides leadership to the firm's accounting employees, directs the firm's accounting policies & manages monthly, quarterly, & annual accounting cycles. The CAO operates as a key member of the management team & provides regular guidance regarding the financial performance & outlook for the various portfolio companies. Responsibilities will include management of day-to-day processes, financials, & internal controls.

Requirements:

• CPA Required
• 10+ years of Upstream Oil & Gas Operational Accounting Experience including Revenue, JIB, AP & GAAP
• Strong Excel Skills, OgSys & DocVue
• Previous experience coordinating across corporate functions, especially land

Recruit, manage and oversee all accounting departments (total staff of 18) including direct management of: Controller, Financial Reporting Manager & Accounting Manager.
