Overview

The Wealth Consultant identifies, engages, acquires, and retains high net worth clients and prospects in holistic wealth management planning. Serves as a primary relationship manager for high net worth clients and families, coordinating advice and activities with other members of the Wealth team. Develops revenue-producing opportunities across multiple product lines to achieve growth and profitability through a diversified financial planning approach. Acts as a Brand Ambassador by representing and promoting the Wealth line of business within the Bank and the communities served. #LI-MP1

Responsibilities

Client Acquisition

- Identifies and attracts new clients through prospecting, referrals, and partnerships with Bank associates. Builds strategic partnerships with centers of influence to enhance acquisition efforts. Responsible for external networking and market development. Relationship Management

- Serves as the main contact and advocate for high net worth clients. Maintains knowledge of client circumstances to develop appropriate wealth plans. Represents the full suite of services including investments, banking, financial planning, insurance, and trust services. Creates a high-touch, client-centric experience to nurture and expand relationships. Assists in planning and facilitating client events. Strategic Advice

- Provides expert wealth management advice. Develops comprehensive, long-term plans to meet clients' financial goals. Identifies suitable products and solutions, engaging other team members as needed to support evolving client needs. Collaboration

- Builds effective partnerships within the Bank to support strategic goals. Coordinates with specialists across the broader team to deliver wealth management services effectively.

Qualifications

Either a Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience in client acquisition, asset gathering, and comprehensive financial advice, or a High School Diploma or GED with 12 years of relevant experience. Preferred experience includes client acquisition, asset gathering, financial planning, banking, investment management, insurance, and estate planning. Licenses required include Series 7, 65, or 66, and State Life & LTC Insurance License. An advanced planning designation is preferred. Benefits are a key part of total rewards.
