What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Conduct research, modeling, and forecasting while coordinating data collection from Claims and other departments - Analyze current reporting to identify trends for improved operational efficiency and product performance - Lead complex analyses to determine root causes of trends and effectively communicate findings to senior management - Monitor internal claims loss data and incorporate industry trends to deliver actionable insights - Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to identify new trends and initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications): - Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience - Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, or equivalent combination of education and experience - Strong proficiency in SAS, SQL, Python, Snowflake, Visual Basic, and Power BI - Excellent research, statistical, analytical, and mathematical skills - Solid communication and presentation skills (written, verbal, and listening)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Knowledge of insurance and rate-making concepts - Advanced degree in a related field or completion of industry-relevant continuing education - Direct claims experience or analytical actuarial experience - Strong data visualization skills, particularly with Power BI - Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
