What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Perform complex data analyses for commercial insurance to support overall business objectives - Collaborate with various departments to gather support on findings and action plans - Make recommendations for procedure development based on broader analysis - Prepare and present findings and recommendations to clients and senior leaders - Partner with IT to conduct User Acceptance Testing on digital and data assets
What is Required (Qualifications): - 5+ years of directly related experience in commercial insurance analysis - Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related field - Exceptional research, statistical, analytical, and data processing skills - Strong oral and written communication skills for effective presentations - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Advanced degree in a related field and/or CPCU designation - Experience in commercial insurance and knowledge of accounting and rate-making concepts - Familiarity with programming languages such as R or Python - Experience with automating repetitive tasks - Ability to coach and mentor colleagues effectively
