Nurse Practitioner – Occupational Health
Location:
Brighton, MA (Onsite) Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM Salary:
$120,000–$160,000 + Negotiable Sign-On Bonus
The Opportunity We’re seeking a highly skilled
Nurse Practitioner
to lead occupational health services for a major medical center. This is a
solo-provider role
supporting employee wellness, injury care, and regulatory screenings in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You'll report directly to the Occupational Health Director and be the go-to provider for all things employee health. What You’ll Do Deliver direct patient care for work-related injuries, pre-employment screenings, follow-ups, and health evaluations.
Perform physical exams, order and interpret labs, and create treatment plans.
Guide employees through injury recovery, wellness strategies, and safe return-to-work protocols.
Document thoroughly, collaborate cross-functionally, and maintain compliance with state/federal health standards.
Contribute to internal protocols, education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Must-Haves Active NP license + Master's in Nursing
Registered with MA Board of Nursing, DEA, and ANCC
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience and 2 years working with adult patients
Must meet Massachusetts FPA requirements (2 years/3,600 hours of supervised NP practice)
Willingness and confidence to operate as the
only on-site provider
Nice-to-Haves Prior occupational health experience
Strong clinical autonomy and confidence in independent decision-making
