Description
This opportunity involves a leadership role within our Financial Operations & Analysis (FOA) department. The successful candidate will oversee financial data analysis, accounting, valuation, and portfolio & asset management support, collaborating with internal teams and external partners. The role requires a self-starter with strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, capable of leading and developing a team in a collaborative environment. Key responsibilities include: Managing quarterly and annual financial reports and supporting workpapers. Reviewing complex accounting transactions such as acquisitions and dispositions. Analyzing IRRs and returns, providing insights to Portfolio & Asset Management. Coordinating property and debt valuations with various teams. Participating in due diligence and ad hoc projects to enhance investor value and client service. Interacting with third parties including clients, fund administrators, and auditors. Implementing fund strategies and ensuring compliance with agreements. Monitoring fund efficiencies and developing tech-enabled tools. Understanding investments within assigned funds and communicating findings internally. Qualifications
Minimum 6 years of experience in real estate accounting and finance. Bachelor's degree in real estate, accounting, or finance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong communication and writing skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Experience in valuation and Argus modeling is a plus. Job Location and Travel
