Description
This opportunity is based in our Chicago office, where we are seeking an entry-level Associate to join our Performance team within the Financial Operations & Analysis department. You will be a key member of our team, focusing on providing accurate financial data analysis, with opportunities for cross-functional collaboration with internal groups such as Asset Management, Client Services & Marketing, and external service providers. Our team operates in a hybrid environment, with 3 days in the office each week. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Creating and maintaining performance reports and analytics using your finance and accounting knowledge. Calculating investment performance returns and other key metrics. Reporting on valuation analytics and property valuation summaries. Partnering with stakeholders to develop strategic reports and improve efficiencies. Gaining knowledge of relevant benchmarks and supporting related organizational requests. Assisting in the maintenance and development of dashboards. Qualifications:
Degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting. 0-2 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations. Effective project and time management skills. Collaborative team player with experience working across departments. Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize tasks. Motivated by both independent and team successes. Problem-solving skills with analytical and critical thinking. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Creative thinking mindset to develop innovative solutions. Proficiency in Excel. Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau) and programming languages (R, Python, SQL) is a plus.
