Base pay range
$64,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from HCLTech Network Architect Responsibilities:
Design and plan computer systems networks as part of a dynamic team of network architects. Oversee the daily operation of the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and reliability. Provide technical leadership and guidance to network engineers. Ensure network infrastructure compliance with industry standards and security best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption. Monitor network performance and capacity, identify bottlenecks or issues, and optimize performance and scalability. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and procedures for troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades. Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; Master's preferred. Proven experience in network architecture, design, and implementation. Deep knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols like OSPF and BGP. Strong understanding of network security principles and practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and encryption. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Solid theoretical knowledge of computer science fundamentals. Experience with ACI-Fabric, SD-WAN Fabric, Gigamon Fabric, F5 Load Balancer, Infoblox (DHCP, DNS, IPAM, NTP), Nexus VPC, Stacking, DMVPN, Cisco Routing & Switching. Disclaimer
