Local Contract Medical Lab Technician - $52-54 per hour

HonorVet Technologies is seeking a local contract Medical Lab Technician for a local contract job in Detroit, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Medical Lab Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/15/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Education: Required Education: -Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science. Required Certification & Licensure: -Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA). Schedule Notes: Duration: 13 Weeks Interview: In-Person or (MS Teams 30 minutes to 1hr depending on location) Minimum Experience: 3 - years of experience Certifications: BLS , MLT is plus Technology Epic, Sunquest CoPathPlush (LIS) Hours: 8-5, Monday through Friday (Potential Flex hours 9:-5 or 9:30 - 6:00) Prior experience in clinical labs, handling specimens and comfortable in PPE. A fair amount of testing is prenatal testing.
