Neonatal Care in Delivery Room Required: APGAR scores, Baby Nurse (“Baby Catcher”), Collect cord samples, ID/Security Banding, Neonatal Resuscitation, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation
Newborn Care Required: Infant Identification, Newborn Assessment, Newborn hypoglycemia, Thermoregulation
Pain Management Required: Epidural Anesthesia, General Anesthesia, Nitrous Oxide, Opioids, Pain assessment & management, Use of PCA (IV) Postpartum Care and Procedures Required: Episiotomy/Incisional Care, Foley Catheter insertion, Fundus/lochia/perineum care, Wound Assessment and Care
Postpartum Care of the Patient with Required: Vaginal Delivery, Cesarean Section, Bladder Distension, Multiple Births, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension
Professional Topics and Skills Required: Isolation Precautions/PPE
Surgical Case/Procedures Required: Cervical Cerclage, D&C, Tubal Logation 2 years experience required

Patient Diagnoses - labor, c/sections, antepartum, postpartum, nursery/newborn
Certifications Required: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP
Work Settings Required: Antepartum, Facility births/month 200-300, Labor and Delivery, High Risk Antepartum
Antepartum Care and Procedures Required: Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), NST (Non Stress Tests), OCT (Oxytocin Challenge Tests), Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Sterile vaginal exam, Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring)
Fetal Monitoring Required: Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
IV therapy/Phlebotomy Required: Administration of blood & blood products, Start & maintain peripheral IV, Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring
Hourly Breakdown Total Hourly Pay Rate: $69.39 Per Hour On W2(Taxable): $20.00 Per Hour Stipend(Non-Taxable): $49.39 Per Hour
