Requirements & Qualifications
Licensure & Certifications:
Active RN License:
North Carolina (NC) or
Compact License
( required ) Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
( required ) TNCC, NRP
( preferred ) CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) ( completed at facility ) Experience:
Minimum 3 years
of recent
ER experience
( required ) Preferred Background:
Level I/II Trauma, Pediatric ED, STEMI/Stroke Centers
Teaching or community hospital setting
Required Skills:
Trauma care (GSW, neuro/spinal injuries, multisystem failure) Pediatric emergencies (seizures, asthma, abuse recognition) Ventilator/BiPAP management, intubation assistance
Procedural sedation, vasopressor titration
EPIC charting proficiency ( non-negotiable ) Additional Requirements:
Floating:
Required between Betsy Johnson & Central Harnett campuses
Scrub Color:
Royal blue and white
Local Rule:
