Web Applications Developer II

Creates user interface solutions by designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining web-based applications. This includes ensuring that ongoing administrative and maintenance needs are considered and accounted for in the development of new web-based products and features. Duties and Responsibilities: Participates in analyzing user interface requirements and participates in generating applicable design documentation. Develops user interface solutions using HTML5, CSS3, Cold Fusion, Java, and JavaScript. Integrates applications by using existing databases and utilizing web services to interact with and transform data. Completes application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; and troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments. Performs quality assurance, code review, configuration, and asset management tasks in accordance with established processes and standards. Updates job knowledge by researching new technologies and software products; participating in education opportunities; reading professional publications; or participating in professional organizations. Skills: Coding principals, HTML, JavaScript, CSS. Some experience in software development or related subject. Education & Experience Requirements: Experience: 2-4 years of software development experience in the classroom or work environment required. For part-time employees, time off rates will be prorated based on the number of hours worked.
