Accounting Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team in Westampton, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts payable and accounts receivable. The role offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your accounting expertise while contributing to essential financial operations. Responsibilities include: Processing and managing accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments. Handling accounts receivable tasks, including invoice generation and payment tracking. Performing account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. Assisting in managing billing functions and resolving discrepancies as needed. Supporting general accounting operations, including journal entries and financial reporting. Collaborating with team members to improve efficiency in accounting procedures. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Providing detailed reports and updates to the finance team on a regular basis. Addressing inquiries related to accounts and resolving issues promptly. Participating in audits and assisting in preparing necessary documentation. Requirements include: Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable. Proficiency in handling billing functions and account reconciliations. Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies. Effective communication skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Familiarity with accounting software and tools is preferred. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in financial operations.
