Position Description Summary
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking to fill full-time faculty positions in glaucoma. The Department of Ophthalmology is part of a growing academic health center located in the heart of a vibrant metropolitan area with cultural, family, and educational opportunities. This position will begin as early as Fall 2024.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include delivering excellent patient care, teaching residents and medical students, and conducting high-quality research.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must be board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology and fellowship-trained in glaucoma. Applicants must also be eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia by the time of appointment.
Advertised Salary
Appointment rank (Instructor/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Full Professor) and salary will be commensurate with experience ranging from $250,000 to $350,000.
