The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of the information technology (IT) strategy for Wayne Memorial Health System. The CIO will lead the IT department and collaborate with executive leadership to align technology solutions with organizational goals. This position plays a critical role in enhancing patient care, operational efficiency, and data security through the use of cutting-edge technologies.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA, MHA, or other advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in information technology leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior executive capacity within the healthcare industry.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale IT projects, systems implementations, and overseeing the operations of enterprise-level technology platforms, including Electronic Health Records (EHR), clinical systems, and data management solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in healthcare IT governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST).
  • Strong background in IT budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including clinical, administrative, and executive teams.
