Director of Operations

We are seeking a hands-on, strategic Director of Operations to lead our warehouse and delivery functions. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, including inventory management, logistics, facility maintenance, and fleet management. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead warehouse, delivery, and logistics teams with a focus on safety, efficiency, and team development
• Oversee all receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment processes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant facility
• Manage and optimize delivery routes, fleet maintenance, and capital equipment planning
• Collaborate with Sales, HR, and other departments to support business growth and align operational strategies
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, DOT) and lead internal safety initiatives
• Identify and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Develop training and staffing strategies for warehouse and driver teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
• 5+ years in operations leadership, ideally in logistics or distribution
• Strong understanding of P&L management, safety regulations, and operational metrics
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with WMS, telematics, and other operations software preferred
• Ability to lift and move up to 165 lbs and work in a warehouse environment, including refrigerated areas
• Regular exposure to warehouse conditions, including cold storage and mechanical equipment
• Must be able to operate forklifts, hand trucks, box trucks, and vans
• This is an on-site leadership role requiring physical presence in a dynamic operations setting
