Responsibilities
The VP Oncology Clinical Service Line (VPOCSL) serves as the executive leader for the Oncology Clinical Service Line at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center and the Texas Markets of CommonSpirit Health. The role involves collaborating with functional leaders to oversee operations and communicate effectively across departments to ensure quality patient care and comprehensive health services. The VPOCSL aligns current actions with organizational strategies, fosters relationships to facilitate smooth operations, and works towards achieving strategic plans while embodying organizational values.
Additionally, the Market VP of Oncology Services is responsible for the overall administration and success of Oncology Services within the Texas markets through strategic implementation. This includes meeting goals related to quality, service, operational performance, financial management, regulatory compliance, leadership development, strategic planning, and market share growth, all aligned with the mission, vision, and values. The VPOCSL collaborates with the Executive Sponsor for the Oncology CSL and works to grow volume, improve service, increase revenue, and control costs through process improvements. The role also involves serving as the primary liaison between the service line and physicians to ensure service alignment and quality patient care.

Qualifications
- Master’s or postgraduate degree.
- Minimum of 5 years in responsible hospital operations at the administrative leadership level.
