As an HRIS Application Specialist on our team, you will be responsible for the implementation of new requirements, support, and improvements to Human Resources processes and procedures.

This role is a high visibility role reporting to the Director of HRIS and will be instrumental in collaborating with Business Partners and global teams across Fortinet. The goal is to understand requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that can adapt and grow with our business. The successful candidate must be a subject matter expert with hands-on expertise, capable of working independently and leading in a fast-paced environment.

Principal Responsibilities:

  1. Review existing systems and processes; develop changes to improve people operations from onboarding to off-boarding to help scale the business.
  2. Lead as an SME in designing and developing HCM Solutions, including requirements gathering, system testing, and change management.
  3. Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure the HCM system operates smoothly.
  4. Identify and implement process improvements, automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and enhance integrations for scalability.
  5. Lead special initiatives within the HRIS team, working with HR and other departments at Fortinet.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • 5+ years of HRIS experience, specifically with Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Deep knowledge of HRIS platforms, support, and implementation.
  • Support core HR modules and serve as SME for additional modules and projects.
  • Understanding of data loaders, extracts, OTBI, BIP, and similar technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of Redwood UI/UX and VBS tools.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to operate across management levels.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive HR data.
  • Maintain documentation and perform audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze data flows and assess downstream impacts of processes.
  • Support data correction requests and large-scale data updates.
  • Investigate issues, develop solutions, and implement strategies.
  • Support HRIS for various HR initiatives like talent acquisition, benefits, and performance management.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and communication processes.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$145,000. Fortinet offers various benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, and a comprehensive leave program.

Salary offers depend on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location. All roles are eligible for the equity program. Bonus eligibility is reviewed at hire and annually at the company's discretion.
