Job Description
Responsible for supporting client management as directed, the IT Developer Support will provide technical support and expertise to ensure the efficient development, deployment, and maintenance of software applications. This role involves collaborating with development teams, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing solutions to optimize application performance.
The selected candidate will perform the following tasks under guidance from the Contracting Officer’s Representative, providing advice, opinions, recommendations, or ideas to client employees:
- Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for error correction, improvement, and debugging.
- Analyze test results critically and deliver solutions to identified problems.
- Install or upgrade software products as required.
- Write programming scripts to enhance website and web application functionality and appearance as needed.
- Provision development environments (local, virtual, or cloud-based).
- Design, deploy, and maintain deployment scripts and artifact repositories.
- Automate routine tasks such as code formatting, testing, and linting.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in developing application and backend services using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, JavaScript, jQuery, Node.js, CSS, Cloud AWS, SQL, GitHub Enterprise.
- Experience automating tasks using scripted languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Perl.
- Experience developing and maintaining web services, preferably with MVC, WCF, and Web APIs.
- Proficiency in relational database development and maintenance, including heavy SQL experience with stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
- Experience building web applications with ASP.NET Core, including MVC architecture, and developing RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of ASP.NET Core middleware, dependency injection, security features, and Razor syntax.
- Proficiency in jQuery for DOM manipulation, event handling, asynchronous requests, and plugin integration.
- Experience developing responsive web applications using Bootstrap, including layout design, component customization, and SASS.
- Other tasks as assigned to support operational needs.
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field
