The objective of the Leasing Associate is to outperform the competition and leverage Matthews' platform to build relationships with retail property owners and tenants. Associates thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, spending significant time meeting with property owners, developers, and tenants.
Duties/Essential Functions
- Complete Matthews’ intensive training program
- Proactively contact commercial real estate owners
- Make prospecting calls daily to investment property owners
- Maintain detailed activity records on Matthews’ CRM system
- Utilize industry-leading tools and technology to win business and build relationships
- Provide financial analysis and underwriting of investment real estate
- Work with Sales Leaders and Mentors to develop a personal business plan
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in sales, business development, or ownership is a plus but not required
