KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Specialist, IAM Engineer to join our Managed Services practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the planning, design, and execution of client-facing engineering projects to enhance and deliver IAM solutions, including access provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, authentication, identity management, privileged access, and service account management.
  • Design and implement IAM engagement solutions aligned with organizational goals and security standards; conduct research to address technical challenges and stay informed of IAM trends; drive continuous improvement and innovation to minimize issues.
  • Architect, develop, and implement automation accelerators for IAM processes; identify opportunities for process optimization; troubleshoot IAM system issues and implement solutions to enhance performance, security, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including IT and security teams, to extend IAM control solutions across technology assets; work with application development teams for alignment; monitor operations for performance and compliance; escalate incidents and lead resolution efforts.
  • Create and maintain client knowledge articles, SOPs, and scripts; develop procedures for continuous improvement; provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Uphold KPMG's standards of integrity, professionalism, and respect in the work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of recent experience with IAM tools such as SailPoint, Okta, Entra ID, or CyberArk; at least five years in development/support/configuration/deployment of IAM products.
  • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or software engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM tools like SailPoint, Okta, Entra ID, Ping; experience with SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth, OpenID, Kerberos, Federation; or CyberArk with cloud integration.
  • Experience with ITSM tools in an ITIL-managed services context preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary ranges by city outside CA can be found here . California Salary Range: $84,500 - $179,300.
