We’re looking for a high-energy, results-driven Director of Sales to lead our sales operations and drive market growth. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll guide a talented sales team, develop strong customer relationships, and make sure every account is serviced and growing. This role is perfect for someone who loves building teams, creating smart sales strategies, and bringing a brand vision to life.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Grow the Sales Team
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by managing and motivating the sales team
- Oversee recruitment, set performance goals, and coach reps to reach them
- Direct production and allocate product across the right delivery channels
- Manage the Sales Ops team to keep everything running smoothly
Rep Management & Customer Relationships
- Manage territories and allocate accounts strategically across the team
- Keep reps’ account contact lists updated and organized
- Implement and maintain CRM tools, ensuring accountability
- Make sure reps visit every account at least once every two weeks
- Join reps for meetings with key accounts to build relationships and drive sales
- Ensure reps know our products inside and out (and what the competition is doing)
- Set individual sales goals with each rep and track their progress
Menu Management & Business Development
- Keep the menu full and balanced with a variety of products (sativa, indica, hybrid)
- Work with processing/manufacturing teams to meet sales demand
- Create partnerships with farms and retailers to open new business opportunities
- Stay ahead of market shifts, trends, pricing, and competition
- Identify top performers and create strategies for slower movers
- Provide the team with marketing materials and promo swag (within budget)
- Set realistic forecasts and partner with Sales and Sales Ops teams to meet them
Operational Excellence
- Manage Sales Operations, Brand Ambassadors, and Fulfillment Drivers
- Report monthly on sales numbers, active accounts, and pipeline growth
- Track sampling efforts and follow up to convert prospects
- Oversee collections to keep accounts current
- Coordinate bulk and packaging deliveries in Portland (and deliver personally when needed)
- Manage CIAO membership if the company remains active
- Oversee accounts receivables and approve orders
- Conduct market analytics for the C-Suite
- Design and track KPIs
- Handle bulk sales and review/approve marketing materials
- Plan and run events and competitions
- Resolve state-specific customer complaints
- Oversee swag inventory and distribution
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers
- Work with CRM vendors to make needed changes

Base Salary: $125k-$150k Plus Bonus
