Why We’re Hiring
Density is growing fast – and we’re looking for a Account Executive to join our go-to-market team at a pivotal stage. This isn’t your typical AE role. You’ll work directly with the CEO and founding team, shape our sales motion from the ground up, and gain hands-on experience you won’t find anywhere else.
You’ll be one of the first hires in our sales motion around a new product (Waffle), helping us define what great looks like and laying the groundwork for long-term scale. If you’re hungry, scrappy, curious, and ready to build, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full sales cycle – from outbound prospecting and discovery to demo and close, with support from a dedicated BDR team
- Create and manage a healthy pipeline by working inbound leads, partnering with BDRs, and sourcing new opportunities independently in a fast-moving sales environment
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership to refine our early sales strategy
- Educate prospects on the value of Density’s workplace analytics and how our tech fits into their goals
- Get creative with outreach – use cold calls, email, social, and whatever it takes to get in front of the right people
- Build a deep understanding of the built environment, facilities strategy, and workplace transformation
- Provide feedback directly to product and marketing based on what you’re hearing in the field
- Help build sales processes and tools as we scale
- Be a voice of the customer from day one
- Track record of success – Proven success closing business in a quota-carrying role (ideally 1-3 years in SaaS or tech)
- You’ve got a builder’s mindset – you like creating, not just executing
- Comfortable operating without a playbook – and excited to help write one
- Highly effective communicator – you know how to ask smart questions and tell a compelling story
- Deep curiosity – about people, tech, data, and how things work
- Scrappy, resourceful, and resilient – you figure things out and keep going
- Passionate about customer experience – you treat every conversation like it matters
- High-growth startup experience is a big plus – especially if you’ve seen early-stage scale
- Experience working in or selling to the workplace, CRE, or facilities space is a bonus
Base: $80,000 - $90,000 with a 50/50 split
This is a hybrid role that requires a minimum in office 4 days a week in office in SF: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
