Known for our integrity, quality, and long-standing industry relationships, we serve a national client base of independent retailers and specialty stores. As we grow, we’re looking for a Head of Sales & Customer Engagement to lead our sales strategy and be the driving force behind both inbound and outbound customer relationships.

As we grow, we’re looking for a Head of Sales & Customer Engagement to lead our sales strategy and be the driving force behind both inbound and outbound customer relationships.

Position Overview

The Head of Sales & Customer Engagement will lead all sales efforts for our company, including inbound and outbound sales, local client development, and national trade show representation. This person will work closely with ownership and our small team to create and execute a sales strategy that deepens relationships with existing customers, attracts new accounts, and expands our presence in key markets—especially in the DFW area. The position is located in Dallas with some travel required (US only).

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is both a natural relationship builder and a driven salesperson. You’ll lead by doing, not just delegating.

Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead all sales efforts across inbound, outbound, local, and national accounts
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy that drives revenue and customer growth
  • Set monthly/quarterly sales goals and track performance metrics
  • Collaborate with ownership on pricing, inventory, and promotional planning
Inbound & Outbound Sales Execution
  • Handle all inbound sales calls and inquiries with professionalism and product expertise
  • Proactively call on existing customers to drive reorders, introduce new collections, and promote marketing campaigns
  • Identify and pursue new leads using CRM data, vendor networks, and digital tools
  • Schedule appointments and manage follow-ups to maintain consistent client engagement
DFW Market Development
  • Build and grow our gemstone presence among local independent jewelry retailers and specialty stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth area
  • Schedule in-person appointments and showroom visits for select clients; provide on-site sales support as needed
  • Organize mini in-office events or private showroom previews to drive local engagement
Tradeshow & Event Leadership
  • Lead company presence at major national tradeshows (JCK Luxury, Centurion, RJO, IJO, etc.)
  • Manage pre-show outreach, appointment scheduling, and strategy
  • Represent the brand at the show—leading sales, networking with buyers, and gathering market insights
  • Coordinate post-show follow-up and opportunity tracking
Customer Relationship Management
  • Maintain up-to-date records of leads, sales activity, and client interactions using CRM tools
  • Monitor customer purchase behavior and identify upsell or reorder opportunities using BIG/EDGE data tools
  • Ensure all customer touchpoints feel personal, professional, and on-brand
Collaboration & Internal Support
  • Work closely with marketing and creative teams to shape sales collateral and customer campaigns
  • Provide feedback to product development based on customer input and market trends
  • Contribute to internal team communication and help streamline sales operations
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development (jewelry, fashion, or luxury goods strongly preferred)
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable with sales technology, CRMs, Zoom/FaceTime product presentations, and basic analytics
  • Experience managing or attending national tradeshows
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
