Job Overview:
A well-regarded law firm based in Denver, CO, is actively seeking a seasoned Labor and Employment Attorney to join its remote legal team. This position is ideal for a practitioner with a strong command of employment law, particularly litigation involving class actions and PAGA matters. The role provides the opportunity to collaborate with a team known for its diverse practice areas and client-first focus, while working remotely from anywhere in California.

Duties:

1. Manage employment law litigation from inception to resolution, including class action and PAGA cases
2. Handle trial preparation and assist with courtroom strategy
3. Advise clients on a broad range of employment matters and compliance issues
4. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda
5. Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive, solution-oriented service
6. Collaborate with colleagues across multiple offices and practice areas
7. Maintain awareness of evolving federal and state labor laws and interpret regulatory changes

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant legal experience in employment and labor law
• Background in defending employers in litigation, including wage and hour class actions and PAGA claims
• Demonstrated success managing a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced legal environment
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with remote legal teams
• Must currently reside in California

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Active license to practice law in the State of California (mandatory)

Skills:

• Expertise in state and federal employment statutes and regulations
• High-level legal writing and analytical skills
• Proficiency in case strategy and litigation management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
