For over 35 years, O’Connor Law has built a reputation of aggressive representation in Workers’ Compensation, Social Security and Personal Injury Law. We handle a wide variety of Personal Injury cases, including Automobile Accident and Motorcycle Accident claims. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled trial attorney to join our team.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for handling a caseload of personal injury matters from initial filing through trial and verdict. The attorney will play a key role in litigation strategy, court appearances, depositions, discovery, and trial preparation, working closely with clients and support staff to deliver strong, client-centered representation.

  • Manage a full caseload of personal injury litigation files, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and premises liability cases
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Handle all aspects of discovery, including written discovery and depositions
  • Appear at court conferences, motion hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials
  • Develop litigation and trial strategies tailored to each case
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate
  • Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
  • Work collaboratively with paralegals, legal assistants, and fellow attorneys

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and in good standing
  • 0-3 years of litigation or trial experience, preferably in personal injury law
  • Strong courtroom presence and oral advocacy skills
  • Excellent legal writing and research ability
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Commitment to client service and ethical practice
