Labor & Delivery RN Job Details Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,990 - $2,130 per week Assignment Type: Travel RN Location: Salem, MA 01970 - Explore Massachusetts nursing jobs in a city known for its arts, parks, and coastal scenery. Unit: Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Unit (25 beds: L&D, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery, 2 ORs, 2 Recovery Rooms, 2 ANU rooms) Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 36 or 48 hours/week, every other weekend, plus 1 night of call Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/21/2025 - End: 12/20/2025) Charting System: EPIC Floating: Not required Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse experience Active Massachusetts RN license BLS, NRP, and EFM certifications (EFM required every 2 years for Labor & Delivery) ACLS certification preferred Clinical proficiency in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Circulating, and Newborn Care Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a busy Labor & Delivery and Postpartum unit Manage patient ratios: Labor & Delivery 1:2-3 for evaluations, 1:1 for active labor, magnesium infusions, or epidurals; Postpartum 1:3-4 Circulate in the operating room and assist with deliveries and postpartum recovery Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, compassionate care Participate in on-call rotation and work scheduled weekends Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your nursing career with this exceptional Labor & Delivery RN job in Salem, Massachusetts!
