Job Details
Shift Schedule:
- Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:30 – 08:00)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Coverage: Rotating ( major holidays )
- Patient Volume: ~140 daily visits (46 beds)
Patient Ratio: 1:4 ( all shifts )
Requirements & Qualifications
Licensure & Certifications:
- Active RN License: Maryland (MD) or Compact License ( required at submission )
- Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI ( required )
- NRP preferred for neonatal cases
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of ER experience (*4-5 years preferred*)
- Required Skills:
- Trauma care (Level II standards)
- Pediatric emergencies (resuscitation, abuse recognition)
- Ventilator/BiPAP management, procedural sedation
- EPIC proficiency ( non-negotiable )
- Preferred:
- Travel experience (3+ years ideal)
- Teaching/community hospital background

- Level II Trauma, STEMI, Stroke Center
- Special Equipment:
- Belmont rapid infuser, LUCAS CPR device, Giraffe warmers
- Patient Population:
- Chest pain, stroke, sepsis, multi-system trauma
- Neonates to geriatrics ( pediatric-specific zone )
