Job Details

Shift Schedule:

• Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:30 – 08:00)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Coverage: Rotating ( major holidays )
• Patient Volume: ~140 daily visits (46 beds)

Patient Ratio: 1:4 ( all shifts )

Requirements & Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active RN License: Maryland (MD) or Compact License ( required at submission )
• Certifications:
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI ( required )
  • NRP preferred for neonatal cases

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of ER experience (*4-5 years preferred*)
• Required Skills:
  • Trauma care (Level II standards)
  • Pediatric emergencies (resuscitation, abuse recognition)
  • Ventilator/BiPAP management, procedural sedation
  • EPIC proficiency ( non-negotiable )
• Preferred:
  • Travel experience (3+ years ideal)
  • Teaching/community hospital background

Unit & Facility Details

• Designations:
  • Level II Trauma, STEMI, Stroke Center
• Special Equipment:
  • Belmont rapid infuser, LUCAS CPR device, Giraffe warmers
• Patient Population:
  • Chest pain, stroke, sepsis, multi-system trauma
  • Neonates to geriatrics ( pediatric-specific zone )
