Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to promote the organization's objectives. Craft and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials to relevant stakeholders. Manage the organization’s social media accounts, creating content and engaging with followers to increase brand awareness. Coordinate with various departments to gather information and ensure accurate representation of programs and initiatives. Develop and maintain relationships with media representatives and key stakeholders to facilitate positive coverage and collaboration. Organize and participate in promotional events, conferences, and community outreach programs to enhance visibility.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in a communications or public relations role, with a strong portfolio of writing samples. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for storytelling and engaging diverse audiences. Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
