Speech Language Pathologist
Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Brockton, MA seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for a contractual position during the 20252026 school year. Location: Brockton, MA Pay Rate: Up to $75.00/hour Start Date: September 3, 2025 End Date: End of 20252026 School Year Schedule: Varies based on position; part-time candidates will be considered, but priority will be given to full-time applicants Contract Type: Full School Year Requirements: Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist Certification Position Overview: SLPs will provide direct therapy services, conduct evaluations, and support students in achieving communication goals outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). These roles involve collaboration with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), educators, and other related service providers. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy services to students Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP development Collaborate with SLPAs, teachers, and support staff Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes Participate in team meetings and student planning Open Positions: #1 Elementary SLP (Full-Time)
Working alongside a skilled SLPA #2 Elementary SLP (Full-Time)
With some SLPA support #3 Split Role SLP (Full-Time)
High School: Focus on evaluations Middle School: Manage ongoing caseload The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders. Minimum Requirements: Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
